Early Labour and Maternity Care: Research for Practice Book

The manuscript for Early Labour and Maternity Care: Research for Practice, edited by cluster member Dr. Vanora Hundley, and Helen Cheyne, has been completed and published by Routledge. This marks the first book Routledge has released in this area. Several cluster members contributed chapters, including Dr. Hundley, Dr. Ellen Tilden, Dr. Mechthild Gross, Dr. Katherine Kissler, Dr. Patricia Janssen, Dr. Dominique Mylod, and Dr. Susanne Grylka. The book explores a wide range of topics, including the history, myths, and origins of early labour management, as well as definitions, physiology, sociology, women’s experiences, and innovations in patient education and labour support.
