Cluster member, Dr. Vanora Hundley has reported that the manuscript for a new book on the early phase of labour has been submitted to Routledge - the first book the publisher has released in this area. Several cluster members contributed chapters, including Dr. Hundley, Dr. Ellen Tilden, Dr. Mechthild Gross, Dr. Katherine Kissler, Dr. Patti Janssen, Dr. Dominique Mylod, and Dr. Susanne Grylka. Topics span the history, myths, and origins of early labour management, as well as definitions, physiology, sociology, women’s experiences, and innovations in patient education and labour support.
