Dr. Abiola Adeniyi

Dr. Adeniyi is a researcher, educator and dental public health professional specialising in maternal and child oral health epidemiology and research.

She has a master’s degree in public health from Nigeria and another in Health management policy and planning from the University of Leeds. She completed her PhD at UBC Vancouver focusing on integrated care and interprofessional collaborative care strategies for oral health during pregnancy in British Columbia Canada and is currently an instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry UBC.

She is involved in national and international collaborative networks in maternal and child oral health, COVID-19 in dental practice, oral health access and policy related research. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association for Dental Public Health.
