International Early Labour Research Group


The International Early Labour Research Group is a consortium of multi-disciplinary researchers who have joined forces to develop or understand:

  • A definition of early labour onset
  • Parameters for defining early labour onset and duration among healthy women
  • Management of early labour
  • Women’s experiences of early labour
